  • Included in every membership is a 5-gallon metal bin with a sealed lid and handle, along with your first 25 kitchen scrap compostable bags (you'll use 1 bag ever 2-3 days usually). Simply tie your bags when they're full and drop them in the bin at the front door, and we'll swing by once a week and pick them up, just like your trash and recycling service.

How DCC Membership works:

  1. Order a monthly membership, or pay annually to save 14%!

  2. The next Wednesday, we will drop off your free odor-locking, animal-proof, 5-gallon bin, plus 25 compostable kitchen bags to get you started (about 1-2 months' worth).
  3. Fill your bags with your food scraps during the week, tie them up when full, and place them in your bin outside your door. (We take food and plant / garden waste.)
  4. Every Wednesday, we will come by to empty your bin.
